welcome to my passion project!

My name is Maddy, the voice behind The Maditude Blog! I’m a 20-something granola-esque gal sharing my adventures with the world and trying to make the outdoors a bit less intimidating.

The Maditude Blog came from an interest in sharing my stories of being outside and my experiences working in the field of natural resources. The blog is a space to share adventures, stories, and more with the world all with the goal of building a community of badass womxn in the outdoors. The most important part is that it’s real life - the good, the bad, and the ugly - it’s Life Unfiltered!

A little bit about me, I have a degree in Fire Ecology and work in natural resources in southwestern Colorado. When I’m not working you can find me spending my free time out and about exploring the beautiful places I get to call home!
